★ Beijing Pixel Software Science & Technology Co. Ltd was established in March, 2002. The 8 founders gathered in a little studio and finished their first work inspired by the passion for the cause. They made their mind on creating Chinese prided game and on letting the world understand Chinese traditional culture through their works.
 
Blade & Sword, the first single-player game Pixel developed, was put on sale on November 2002. This game was widely recognized by both players and industry.
  
December 2002, Blade & Sword signed a Taiwan publisher and began to sell in Taiwan, later Hong Kang and Macao. Pop Soft (leading magazine in Chinese game industry) marked Blade & Sword 90 out of 100, this was the highest score for domestic game of that year.

● The highly success of Blade & Sword attracted many new developers, they joined Pixel Soft with the same dream: create a world famous Chinese game brand. Pixel grew stronger with new blood and turned its direction from single-player to multi-players, we are always ready for new challenge.

The second generation of Blade & Sword, Blade & Sword-Ancient Legend, had been on sale to public on July, 2003. This game earned lots of support from fans and made way for Blade & Sword Online---- a MMOAPG appeared on the end of that year.

October 2003, Blade & Sword won high sales in Japan, Chinese game could seldom be found abroad at that time.


December 2003, Blade & Sword became the most welcomed charismas gift in the Occident, it had stayed in Gamespot top 10 for ten days including 3 days’ No. 1. This top list included many great works like Diablo2 and Neverwinter Night, though Blade & Sword’s total score was lower than these AAA games, still its success was unprecedented in Chinese original game history. This achievement proved that a good game can overcome borders and complexions.

● Blade & Sword Online got most votes and won out the election of Top 10 favorite homegrown games of “Vnet Annual Chinese game industry report”.

April 2004, Blade & Sword appeared in South East Asia market.

July 2004, Pixel’s first online game Blade & Sword Online began its external test in China main land; classic fighting system and profound Chinese culture were wildly welcomed by players, its peak on line number reached 100,000.


October 2004, Blade & Sword began to charge for play in China main land, large external test in Hong Kang and Taiwan had also been in process.

● January 2005, Blade and Sword Online won “The Top 10 best locally developed title”, awarded by annual industrial conference.

March 2005, Blade & Sword Online began to charge in Taiwan and Hong Kang. Until April 20th 2005 it owned 3.5millions registered users, 400,000 of them paid for playing. According to Popsoft’s statistical, the sales of Blade & Sword’s pre-pay had been stayed in the top ten for months.

June 2005, a group of selected college students from Envision EMI International Scholar Laureate Program (USA) visited Pixel Soft for exchanging and communication.

October 2005, Blade & Sword Online celebrated its first birthday, in the year past it won many titles and had been favored by players.

● January 2006, Blade and Sword Online won “The Top 10 best homegrown MMOGs”, awarded by 2005 Chinese Game Industry Annual Conference, Xiamen.

March 2006, Blade and Sword—Ancient legend appeared in Russia, its sales stayed in Top 10 for 3 days.
June 2006, selected college students from Envision EMI International Scholar Laureate Program (USA) visited Pixel Soft again for exchanging and communication.
August 2006, Pixel’s latest work Journey to Fairyland made a first appearance in public.

October 2006, Blade and Sword Online’s third birthday had come.

October 2006, Blade and Sword online won “The best homegrown MMOGs” again, at Chinajoy Annual Game Expo.

● March 2007, Journey to Fairyland signed with its China mainland agent.
● May 2007, Journey to Fairyland had a big signing ceremony with its China mainland agent in Shenzhen.
● May 2007, selected college students from Envision EMI International Scholar Laureate Program (USA) visited Pixel Soft for the third time seeking for exchanging and communication.
● August 2007, Journey to Fairyland has been selected “Chinese Original Online game Project”

● January 2008, Pixel’s leader Liu Kun won title for new talent of China Game Industry
● May 2008, selected college students from Envision EMI International Scholar Laureate Program (USA) visited Pixel Soft for the fouth time seeking for exchanging and communication.
